ZOO DAY!
United Way of Greater Topeka is offering a FREE ZOO DAY – Summer Spike Event on July 15th from 11-1 PM at the Topeka Zoo.
The Spike Event was created by the Shawnee County Campaign for Grade-Level Reading to host a summer learning event where kids could learn in a safe environment and carry that learning throughout the rest of the summer. It is also an opportunity for the Book Rich Environment program to distribute books to children in the community.
The entrance fee for kiddos and families is FREE to attend and there is a free lunch through Topeka 501 Summer Lunch Program for the first 300 guests.
