Courageous Conversations: Living Wage

Fellowship Hi-Crest has started this series of Courageous Conversations, where we host “live” or public discussions on matters affecting our community. The first centered around Practicing Presence in Neglected Neighborhoods. The second centered around the COVID-19 vaccine. This time we take on the topic of a living wage.

Why this topic? While we may not be able to come to a national solution, we would like to believe that Top City is better than that. Local radio host Danielle Norwood will moderate the conversation. Our panel will consist of Councilwoman Sylvia Ortiz, local small business owner George Kearse, and a person struggling to make it while working for less than a living wage.
