COMMUNITY NAVIGATOR PROGRAM
Exciting News! We recently launched the Community Navigators in our building! The Community Navigator program was established in partnership with many agencies to build our non-profit partners’ capacity, engage more community volunteers, and support individuals and families.
These volunteers will help clients:
– prepare paperwork
– gather documentation
– access to community resources that might benefit and/or support their needs.
This program will help deliver services that can help individuals become financially stable and create a long-lasting connection to organizations that can assist individuals in the future as well. This will allow those most in need in our community to have a successful initial meeting to access community resources and programs.
Fellowship Hi-Crest is one of four host locations for the program. There is a volunteer with the program here Monday 11-3, Tuesday 8-3, Wednesday 8-3, and Thursday 8-3. They will be located in Room 103. Fellowship Hi-Crest is partnering to provide space, computer access, and printing. This is a partnership with United Way of Kaw Valley
If you’d like to meet with one of the Community Navigators, please simply walk in during open hours. No appointment is necessary at this time!
