Students

What is Fortress?

The Fortress is a unique weekly gathering for students 6th-12th grade. Our middle school and high school students meet every Wednesday from 5:00-7:30 pm during Family Dinner.

The Fortress is made up of a time of games, worship, teaching and small groups where they will be led by an adult leader and be given space to share life with other students of their same grade and gender. The Fortress is a great place for students to connect to God, a community of peers and a caring consistent small group leader. Hope you will join us on Wednesday nights at Avondale East!

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

  • 5:00 - 6:00 - Games/Social Time and Family Dinner
  • 6:00-6:20 – Worship Time and Prayer
  • 6:20-7:30 - Fortress Worship and Small Groups

Become A Small Group Leader

Do you have a passion for building relationships with students and walking alongside them in their faith? We would love for you to be a part of our Fortress small group leader team! Our small group leaders are the primary relational connection for our students at Fortress. As a small group leader, you will shepherd and disciple the students in your group, modeling a faith in Christ and sharing life with them. We would love to help you get connected in our ministry! Weekends

At Fellowship, the weekend services have been a time that we desire for students to worship with their families and serve within the church. We do this to give students a picture of the importance of being a part of the larger church and not just our student ministry. We also want to take the opportunity to develop giftings and passions to serve the body of Christ.
